Pastor Hrang Cung Hnin was the oldest son of Pu Tawk Hu and Pi Hram Pawng. He was born in Malsawm Village. Pastor Hrang has been happily married almost ten years to his long time sweetheart Sayama Khin May San, a Bible College lecturer in Tahan, the daughter of Pu Biak Lian and Pi Sui Zing. God blessed the couple with two lovely children: a daughter and a son. Pastor Hrang came to the United States in 2001, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Indianapolis Baptist Seminary. He began to serve ICBC as a pastor in 2015.
